YEREVAN. - “Armenia” International Airports and Armavia national carrier will launch talks in few minutes, representatives of both companies assured. They will participate in the meeting organized by the General Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia.

Armavia Company cares for the passengers according to the rules: they were provided with food and water in 3 hours and will be provided with accommodation in 8 hours, company’s spokesperson Nana Avetisova told Armenian News-NEWS.am adding currently they cannot say how long the talks will last.

Earlier Armenian News-NEWS.am has informed that the “Armavia” declared a strike. According to its spokesperson, the strike will continue unless Zvartnots Airport changes its price policy.

In its turn, “Armenia” International Airports Company stated that because of the accumulated debts, Armavia Company is prohibited to carry out flights toward Russia and enter Russian air space. Moreover, it negatively assesses Armavia Airline Company’s inappropriate exploitation and its unfounded and false comments, and regrets that solely the national carrier has found itself in such situation.
