YEREVAN. – As of Tuesday at 7.00 p.m. there are difficult-to-pass and closed inter-state roads in Armenia.

Selim Mountain Pass, the Berd-Chambarak, Kajaran-Meghri, Goris-Sisian highways are closed due to snowstorm, black ice, and low visibility, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.    

There are some difficult-to-pass roads in Gyumri, Aragatsotn and Gegharkunik regions. Snow removal and road cleaning are in progress.

According to the information received from Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department, as of Tuesday at 19.00 p.m., the weather has considerably deteriorated in Georgia and there is low visibility and a danger of avalanche.

The Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars Highway is closed.
