Four children are among the victims of the TU-154 plane heading Tehran-Yerevan, crashed July 15, 2009. Experts identified only one child – Edward Khachikyan. State Aviation Authorities’ press secretary Nelly Cherchinyan told NEWS.am, with his mother – Nana Antashian – citizen of Iran and Canada, Edward flew from Tehran to Yerevan. Other children’s identities are being investigated.

Meanwhile, at 12:00 local time a plane with governmental inquiry commission on causes of the air crash, and relatives of the victims on board are to leave for Iran.

Yesterday a plane of Caspian Airlines heading from Tehran to Yerevan, flight 7908 with 168 people on board crashed at 11:33 am local time on Iranian territory. The passengers and the crew of 15 were reported dead. As per the preliminary data, of 37 Armenian passengers – 5 were citizens of Armenia, at that 2 — aircraft mechanics.
