WASHINGTON. - U.S. President Barack Obama has no time to congratulate newly elected Russian President Vladimir Putin for his victory, the White House representative Jay Carney said, utro.ru reports.

Carney believes both Presidents will talk by all means, but not at the moment as their schedules are very tense, RIA Novosti reports.

To note, Russian presidential elections took place on Mar. 4, while the U.S. approved the results as soon as the Central Electoral Committee announced them. In addition, congratulations for the victory went not to Putin, but the Russian people by the State Department.
