YEREVAN.- Former head of staff of the Armenian parliament is appointed Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (residence in Abu Dhabi) .
President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree to appoint Gegham Garibjanyan on Monday.
Under another decree Vahagn Melikyan is relieved of his post of Ambassador to the UAE.
