YEREVAN. – Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) is not examining any petition where allegedly information is provided on the crimes committed by several judges, NSS News Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

“This press publication is a lie and it does not correspond to the reality,” the News Service stated. 

To note, these days NSS is examining a petition where information is provided on the crimes committed by several judges, Hraparak daily wrote, referring to the information it received.    

“They say that, along the lines of examining [this petition], the judges are invited to the NSS and explanations are asked [of them]. On the one hand, it is good that those judges who have committed crimes can be punished, but, on the other hand, this is a process aimed against the independent status of the judges, and as a result their servitude will become more complete,” Hraparak wrote.
