YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Deputy PM and Regional Governance (RG) Minister Armen Gevorgyan on Wednesday received Russian Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Maxim Travnikov.
During the meeting the interlocutors summed up the results of the inaugural session of the Armenian-Russian Working Group on Interregional Cooperation, RG Ministry informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
They also reached several arrangements. Specifically, Armenia’s Urban Development and Russia’s Regional Development ministries will have to measure up the draft agreement on cooperation in the domain of urban development. An experience exchange will be organized between the regions of the two countries, and with respect to regional development programs. Also, it was proposed to render assistance toward organizing Moscow Days, in the Armenian capital Yerevan, in April.
The parties also reflected on the holding of the Second Armenian-Russian Interregional Conference.
