YEREVAN. - Armenian and German FMs - Edward Nalbandian and Guido Westerwelle - discussed the normalization process of Armenian-Turkish relations during the Friday meeting in Yerevan.

German FM Guido Westerwelle stated at the press conference following the meeting that Germany believes rapprochement between Yerevan and Ankara would be in the interests of both parties.

The Ministers discussed number of international and regional issues, including situation in Syria. Westerwelle stated that it is necessary to put  an end to the violence, provide the humanitarian aid and secure protection of minorities.
