In February, food prices grew by 0.94 per cent in the world market. According the Armenian Central Bank’s refinancing report, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) reports.
The food prices increase is conditioned with the price growth of sugar, vegetable and animal fats, and wheat.
Oil prices increased by 7.6 per cent and copper prices increased by 4.6 per cent.
At the same time, compared to January, in February food prices decreased by 1.9 per cent in Armenia.
