YEREVAN. – President Serzh Sargsyan is also attending the ruling coalition’s Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) congress.   

Representatives from the National Assembly (NA) political parties are among the participants, too.

A total of 6,788 of the 6,812 delegates are present at PAP congress. 

And the event’s agenda has but one matter: the approval of PAP’s program for the upcoming parliamentary elections.

The congress is chaired by Urban Development Minister Vardan Vardanyan.  

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, guests from Russia, Ukraine, and Croatia likewise will attend in congress.

Also, PAP received a message from the Communist Party of China.

The Prosperous Armenia Party was founded by businessman Gagik Tsarukyan. It debuted in politics in the 2007 parliamentary elections and won 18 seats in the National Assembly.
