YEREVAN. – Foreign representatives, including head of the United Russia delegation Sergey Neverov, Ukraine’s Party of Regions MP Vadim Kolesnichenkov, ex-president of Croatia Stjepan Mesić and a representative of the Chinese Embassy in Armenia participated in the 6th congress of the ruling coalition member Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP).

Neverov introduced the message by Boris Gryzlov, whishing success in the upcoming elections. Ukrainian representative stated that over 400,000 Armenians living in Ukraine promote the development of the state’s economy. Besides, Armenians and Ukrainians are friends for many centuries, which serve as a base of bilateral cooperation and friendly relations.

Croatian ex-president stated that the congress is being held prior to very big event-parliamentary elections. Those elections should be held at proper level and meet the international standards. It will be a prerequisite for further development of the state.

Chinese embassy representative introduced the message by the Communist Party of China (CPC) congratulating the PAP members and wishing them success. Besides, the CPA wishes “eternal friendly relations for China and Armenia.”
