YEREVAN. - New details are available on Armenia’s fraud case involving five African men.

Police revealed the names of three detained Libyans. They are: George G., 38, Foster G., 34, Mark D., 36.

It was disclosed that they managed to cheat Armenian citizen Gevorg K. out of $4,000.

They brought fake dollars colored in black and tried to engage Armenians in a deal persuading their victims that the black paint can be easily removed from dollars with the help of special liquid.

They allegedly removed black paint urging Gevorg K. to find $100 thousand to buy a special liquid to clean the rest.  Policemen found black papers, liquid and other equipment. An investigation is underway.
