YEREVAN. - Territorial Electoral Commissions in Armenia continue to receive applications by the candidates on plurality system.
Thus, deputy head of ruling coalition member Orinats Yerkir party Mher Shahgeldyan submitted his application in N3 district, while nephew of the first President Tigran Ter-Petrosyan in N12.
Ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) member Karine Poghosyan submitted her application in N17 district and Vahagn Hakobyan in N22 in Armenia’s Artashat city.
Among other candidates were no-party Tigran Petrosyan, Smbat Simonyan both in N23, off parliament opposition Armenian National Congress Sasun Mikaelyan in N25, Orinats Yerkir Party member Tigran Ghalechyan in N26, and Armen Avdalyan will run against Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) leader Gagik Tsarukyan in N28.
Businessman Armen Martirosyan will stand in N29, while Garnik Sahakyan in 30 districts. Meanwhile, RPA Ashot Aghababyan, Arman Sahakyan and Orinats Yerkir member Hunan Petrosyan will stand in N33, N34 and N35 districts respectively in Armenia’s Gyumri city.
