YEREVAN. – The US dollar’s average exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 387.86/$1, at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Tuesday.
The stock exchange had seen no trading on Monday, and the aforementioned rate is a substantial 0.23-percent—or a 0.87-point—drop for the dollar from the previous day.
The total sales were $5.15 million.
Armenia’s exchange offices offer the dollar at AMD 388.5/$1, which is a record low in the past one month, and buy it at AMD 386/$1.
