YEREVAN. – The Armenian Government’s words and deeds are different, MP from Heritage Party Armen Martirosyan said in the parliament on Tuesday.

“Is it not you speaking about social justice but at the same time contributing to increase of poverty and outflow of population from the country? Is it not in your courts that by the name of human rights powerless people are sentenced? Dear representatives of the Republican Party of Armenia, Prosperous Armenia Party and Orinats Yerkir, change for us to be able to trust you,” Martirosyan said paraphrasing the slogan of RPA ‘We shall trust in order to change’.

The head of the faction Stepan Sagaryan came up after him announcing that the problems of the country must not always be prescribed to the transition period or closed borders.

“We are told 20 years are a very short time for establishing justice. Heritage announces: ‘Even an hour is enough for establishing justice. For removing illegal funds and restoring justice in society just a minute is enough’. The authorities have told and keep telling: ‘Our country is in a transition period currently’. We answer: ‘The country is not in a transition period, it is in danger. Political will is needed in order to draw a lesson from own mistakes,” Safaryan said.

“Heritage announces that changes must be done today and not tomorrow,” Safaryan stated.
