32-42 thousand euros compensation will be paid to the TU-154 air crash victims’ families, Artyom Movsesyan, the GDCA Director General, stated at today’s Government session.

The aiding in funeral and other issues are considered with the victims’ relatives.

Yesterday at 11:33am local time the 7908 “Caspian Airlines” flight crashed in Iran with 168 passengers, including 15 crew members on board. All Iranian, Armenian and Georgian passengers died. According to preliminary data there were 36 Armenians, at that — 5 citizens of Armenia on board. The probable cause was explosion in one of the aircraft engines.
