YEREVAN. – Armenia’s PM Tigran Sargsyan received the delegation led by Christos Polizogopoulos, Chairman of the Economic and Social Committee of Greece.

“We underscore the activities of the Public Council [of Armenia]. We see that the Council could play an important role in discussing issues of societal concern” the PM noted. In this connection, Tigran Sargsyan also said the Council’s international cooperation and experience exchange is extremely useful.

In his turn, Christos Polizogopoulos informed that a memorandum of cooperation will be signed between the Economic and Social Committee of Greece and the Public Council of Armenia, which will give new impetus also to developing Armenian-Greek relations. The aforesaid Greek Committee’s Chairman noted that Greece, as an EU state, is prepared to assist Armenia on its road to European integration.         

The interlocutors also reflected on the current state of affairs in Greece and the future programs.  

Christos Polizogopoulos conveyed the Greek PM’s warm greetings to Tigran Sargsyan.
