Camel has tendency to spit – Armenian opposition member – newspaper

YEREVAN. – Armenia’s opposition Free Democrats Party member Ararat Zurabyan refuses to speak about the development that unrolled within the Party as a result of which he refused to be included in the opposition Heritage Party’s proportional list for the upcoming parliamentary elections, Hraparak daily writes. 

“But we were able to ascertain that he said in a friendly circle that those who entered from Free Democrats to Heritage must take into consideration that ‘the camel has a tendency to spit.’  

Zurabyan meant the ‘Covenant for a New Armenia’ document, which was signed by those who Heritage’s leader [Raffi Hovannisian] had included in the proportional list, and whereby the signatories had accepted Raffi Hovannisian’s unconditional leadership,” Hraparak writes.
