I hope that the results of the discussions at this summit will be historic for international peace and security, and I wish everyone success on this path. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on May 4 during the plenary session of the 8th European Political Community Summit.
According to him, this summit is important in the international context, especially now, when the world faces numerous challenges — from Ukraine to the Middle East.
He recalled that Armenia was visited for the first time by the Presidents of North Macedonia, the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the President of the European Parliament, and the Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Ireland, Andorra, Finland, Estonia, Luxembourg, Norway, Kosovo, Slovenia, and Liechtenstein.
"This is yet another reason to call this summit historic for Armenia, not to mention that a summit of this scale is being held in our country for the first time in history. I thank you for becoming part of this history for Armenia," Pashinyan noted.
