The New Power party is conducting its election campaign in Yerevan’s Shengavit administrative district today.

Speaking with reporters, the party leader and prime ministerial candidate Hayk Marukyan, referring to their chances of winning seats in the upcoming parliamentary election in Armenia, noted as follows: “Of course, giving some numbers, saying percentages is a thankless task, but I am sure that we will implement our minimum plan. We have two plans: minimum and maximum. The minimum is to be represented in parliament so that we can advance our programs; that is, for what the people give us their votes. And the maximum plan is to change power [in Armenia] so that today’s authorities no longer operate and stop their wrong path. In our opinion, this is a completely wrong path that our authorities are taking today. And secondly, so that we can implement our programs more quickly.”

The parliamentary elections in Armenia will be held on June 7. Seventeen political parties and two blocs are running for parliament.
