The main event of Armenia’s mining industry, Mining Armenia Forum 26, which is being held for the third year in a row, kicked off Friday in the country.
One of the novelties of this year's forum will be the use of artificial intelligence to recap event discussions and prepare practical proposals for the development of the mining industry in Armenia.
The forum will last until Saturday, and will bring together about 50 representatives of the mining industry and related sectors.
The program also envisages the participation of international organizations engaged in market analysis and resource sector development.
Mining Armenia Forum 26 is being held ahead of the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 17) to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. The latter is becoming a platform for discussing the future of the mining industry, regional cooperation, and sustainable resource development.
The forum aims also to contribute to the establishment of international business ties and the exchange of experience. Over the course of two days, its participants will be able to discuss the development of the mining sector.
