YEREVAN. – U.S. Ambassador John Heffern said his country is committed to cooperation with Armenia in many fields, especially science and technology.
Armenia’s future is a 21-centrury knowledge-based economy, and international cooperation will help Armenia achieve this goal. Through U.S. government projects, public private partnerships and education exchanges, the embassy is expanding partnerships with key companies and individuals.
He highlighted project with the U.S. high tech company National Instruments and the State Engineering University of Armenia to establish the Armenian national engineering laboratory.
Ambassador also pointed out Imagine Cup 2013 Armenian final hosted by Microsoft Innovation Center (MIC) and educational exchanges, especially Fulbright Program.
