YEREVAN. – The chief of Yerevan police Ashot Karapetyan ordered to hold an investigation in connection with the detention of one of the activists during anti-Customs Union protest in the Armenian capital.
Hasmik Grigoryan (born in 1990) was detained during the protest action, police told Armenian News-NEWS.am. When being detained by police, the girl was shouting that she was underage.
Earlier Karapetyan said the police had no right to detain minors and condemned the actions.
In fact police detained a minor on Monday. Erik Israelyan born in 1998 was handed over to parental supervision.
