The construction of the new bypass road at the Tavush Region of Armenia’s Paravakar-Vazashen section—where the road was closed in October 2013 when Azerbaijan had fired upon a vehicle that was traveling on that road section—is being delayed not solely due to the adversary’s fire, but because of the need for additional funds which exceed the planned budget.   

Artsrun Ghalumyan, the director of the company conducting the aforesaid road construction, informed the above-said to Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan.

The premier on Saturday stopped over at the construction site, and within the framework of his visit—together with Transport and Communication Minister Gagik Beglaryan—to the border villages of the Tavush Region.
