YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia received a call on Saturday at 1:36pm.
Accordingly, the elevator of a capital city Yerevan building had fallen, and rescuers were needed.
A firefighting team and a rescue squad were dispatched to the scene, informed the ministry press service.
It was found out that the elevator cable had snapped for yet unknown reasons, and the elevator had fallen.
The dead body of A. Sh. (around 35 years old) was found in the elevator.
The firefighters and rescuers took the body out of the elevator shaft.
