YEREVAN. - Yerevan Deputy Chief of Police Valery Osipyan insists that they found bottles with alcohol in Yerevan’s Baghramyan Avenue. However, he didn’t point to any facts. Osipyan first told Armenian News – NEWS.am that the sit-in participants know the police have found alcohol. “I think they know,” he added in a few minutes.

But he didn’t point to any fact or record with regard to the possession of alcohol by the protestors.

As reported by Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent, conversely, the protest initiators constantly warn the protestors against bringing alcohol, since it would be a provocation against the sit-in.

A group of protestors also stopped a young man, carrying boxes of beer, who said he was a deliverer and was taking the drink to some entity. The protestors called the police and removed the beer from the territory with their help.

At the moment the protest is continuing, the number of the protestors is constantly growing.
