YEREVAN. - The “No to Plunder” initiative activists handed in their letter to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia (photos)

The letter, whose content the activists first read, speaks on the necessity of criminal punishment of the policemen, who used forced against the protestors.  

The “No to Plunder” initiative member and lawyer Ara Gharagyozyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am that the citizens’ right to peaceful assemblies was violated on June 23. The activists’ demands also include the following points:

The police workers should wear uniforms during their duty performance.

If minors take part in a rally, the police have no right to use special means.

Thereupon the “No to Plunder” initiative march ended.
