YEREVAN. – Armenian village of Paravaqar on the border with Azerbaijan suffered considerable damage in the ceasefire violation by the Azerbaijani side.

One vehicle burnt down, while other five were damaged considerably. Houses and streets have been damaged, too.

Despite tense situation on Thursday evening, the situation on Friday afternoon is quite calm. The villagers are gathering grapes.

“Yes, we do, although it is a threat to our lives,” they said, adding that they have not witnessed similar shooting since 1992.

The government instructed to compensate the losses, governor Hovik Abovyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

As reported earlier, three women were killed in Azerbaijani shelling and another four people were wounded.
