YEREVAN. - The protest against Russia’s sale of weapons to Azerbaijan has finished in Yerevan (photos).

The participants ended the protests in front of the Russian Embassy in Yerevan. They urged the Armenians living in other countries to hold rallies not only in front of the Azerbaijani Embassies but also the Russian ones.

According to the protestors, it’s exactly Russia which destabilizes the situation in the region by selling arms to Azerbaijan. Armenians residing in Russia also got a portion of pretensions, they said.

Moreover, the participants demanded Russia to fulfill its obligations as a de jure ally, and respect the national interests and security of Armenia in its future decisions, as well as to immediately stop selling weapons to Azerbaijan.
