YEREVAN. - Armenian Criminal Court of Appeal on Tuesday changed the preventive measure chosen against Founding Parliament opposition group member Armen Mikayelyan, who was arrested on July 27 on suspicion of illegal possession of firearms.

The court has released him on bail, Mikayelyan’s attorney Yervand Varosyan wrote on his Facebook page.

Armen Mikayelyan was arrested on his way back home after the rally in Yerevan’s Khorenatsi street.
