On September 2, a column of cars took the corpse of Uzbekistan President Islam Karimov to Samarkand, reports the Fergana referring to the video shot by eyewitnesses.  The video shows a convoy escorted by the police. As reported earlier, on September 2, the government of Uzbekistan announced that Islam Karimov was in a critical condition, meaning that he would not be able to perform the duties of head of state.
