The Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov has proposed to open an Armenian-Georgian restaurant Beh beh beh.

He came up with this idea during Chisto News program, which is anchored by Ukrainian comedian Vladimir Zelenskiy. The Minister posted the video link on his Facebook page.

Referring to the dispute between him and the Mayor of Odessa Mikheil Saakashvili, Avakov proposed: “Restaurant of Armenian and Georgian cuisine Beh beh beh. The people will defy! Water is served at the entrance.”

Avakov (ethnic Armenian) and Saakashvili (Georgian) argued during the meeting of Ukraine's National Council of Reforms in December 2015. The Minister threw a glass of water over his opponent, demanding to “leave his country.” In response, Saakashvili accused the Minister of controlling illegal armed groups.

The video record of the conflict went viral, serving as a basis for parodies. Many users liked the expression “beh beh beh”, by which Avakov teased Saakashvili’s manner of speaking, as well as the very fact that the whole dialogue was conducted in Russian.
