YEREVAN. – Acting Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian, who is in New York City within the framework of the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly, on Wednesday met with Vivian Balakrishnan, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore.

They reflected on the steps to be taken toward further development of bilateral relations, expansion of legal framework, promotion of trade and economic cooperation, and achieving of closer cooperation within international organizations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The ministers also exchanged views on the key present-day regional and international issues.

Separately, Nalbandian briefed Balakrishnan on the current situation with respect to the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.
