YEREVAN. – Heads of the delegations of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member countries have arrived in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, to participate in the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council.

The Press Office of the President of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the heads of the delegations are: President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakhytzhan Sagintayev, and Secretary General of the CSTO Nikolay Bordyuzha.

At the Presidential Palace they were greeted by President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, who is also Chairman of the CSTO Collective Security Council.

After the welcoming ceremony, a narrow-format session kicked off with the participation of the heads of the delegations of the CSTO member states and the Secretary General.

This meeting will be followed by an extended-format session, with the participation of the official delegations.
