YEREVAN. – The Foreign Minister of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, on Wednesday received Bridget Brink, Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs at the US Department of State.
Nalbandian expressed satisfaction with the high level of Armenian-American friendly partnership, and stressed that significant progress has been made in bilateral relations in recent years, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Brink, in turn, noted that the US highly appreciates partnership relations with Armenia, and is interested in making them grow deeper.
Subsequently, the interlocutors reflected on the prospects for the development of Armenian-American trade and economic cooperation.
They also discussed the avenues for the creation of conditions for pushing the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) peace process forward.
In addition, Edward Nalbandian and Bridget Brink exchanged views on several urgent regional and international matters.
