Foreign Minister of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, on Thursday met with Minister of External Relations and International Cooperation of Burundi, Alain Aimé Nyamitwe.
They met within the framework of the ongoing International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF) ministerial conference in Antananarivo, the capital city of Madagascar.
The parties discussed the course of implementation of the agreements that were reached at the OIF ministerial conference which was convened last year in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.
Nalbandian and Nyamitwe also underscored the expansion of the bilateral legal framework, and the development of commercial, economic, educational, and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
In addition, the interlocutors exchanged views regarding the matters that are on the OIF agenda.
At the end of the talk, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, and the Ministry of External Relations and International Cooperation of Burundi.
