YEREVAN. – A march in support of the Sasna Tsrer armed group kicked off Saturday from Liberty Square in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.
To note, Sasna Tsrer had taken over a police patrol regiment building in Yerevan, taken hostages, but later surrendered, in July.
The march is organized by opposition Founding Parliament initiative, the Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter informed from on location.
Several dozen demonstrators are marching in downtown Yerevan, and they will arrive in the “Hospital for the Convicted” Criminal-Executive Institution, where they will express their support to the Sasna Tsrer members that are undergoing medical treatment.
Subsequently, the marchers will return to Liberty Square.
