YEREVAN. – The main thing for the Government of Armenia is returning the money to the budget, rather than catching specific persons.

Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan noted the aforementioned during his press conference on Friday, as he commenting on his earlier statement regarding “primitive theft” in the state apparatus of the country.

Karapetyan said he did not mean that everybody in the country’s state system steals markedly and without concealing, but, rather, unjustified outflow of money needs to be eliminated.

“So, in simple words, the main [thing] for me is not catching people, but targeted spending of state funds,” added the PM.
