Resident of Armenia’s Kotayk province, Gevorg Poghosyan, 33, who had been under custody in France since 2016, was handed over to the Armenian side on May 24, the official website of the Armenian Police informed Armenian News – NEWS.am.

In cooperation with the national Interpol bureaus of France and Armenia, the officers of the General Department of Criminal Investigation of the Police transported Gevorg Poghosyan to Yerevan via Paris-Moscow-Yerevan flight.

The latter was charged with robbery and carrying out of a violent action of sexual nature. In 2016, Poghosyan was found out and detained in France.
