The residents of Etchmiadzin protesting against the court decision on releasing MP, retired General Manvel Grigoryan called not to try to violate human rights in Armenia.
“How can you release a man who was robbing the army? Mr. Zeynalyan, [acting minister of justice] the situation in Armenia has changed, and the situations changed thanks to these people. Let no one try to violate human rights,” one of the protesters said.
Another protester said that the release of Grigoryan on bail is a sabotage staged by former authorities.
“We know what Manvel Grigoryan is capable of. There is no place for Manvel’s junta in Holy Etchmiadzin!” he said.
The locals are holding protest in Etchmiadzin chanting “We say no to Manvel!”
