YEREVAN. – Several social and political figures of Armenia on Tuesday are staging a demonstration outside the Russian embassy, in capital city Yerevan.

The protest is against the current situation at the 102nd Russian Military Base in Gyumri, the non-statutory relations, and the Russian military servicemen’s conduct in Armenia and which threatens the safety of Armenian citizens.

Also, the demonstrators plan to hand a letter of protest to the Russian ambassador and to issue a message to Armenian authorities.
