The political changes that took place in Armenia also had an affect on the police system, Armenian Prime Minsiter Nikol Pashinyan said on Saturday.
According to him, police role, functions, and behavior should be clarified in the new Armenia.
"Armenian police cannot use brutal force against its own citizens; on the other hand, the police cannot just watch how the citizens' rights are restricted,” he said.
The police should be the guarantor of a clear legal order and not be a part of political bias, the PM noted.
