YEREVAN. – By the order of Armenia’s Chief of the Police Valeri Osipyan, several officers of the law on Saturday were presented with police ranks, and in recognition of their conscientious and considerate service.

According to tradition, the police chief personally handed the respective epaulettes to these police officers.

Also, Osipyan noted that people’s trust towards police needs to be increased, and this, in his view, is possible solely through professional knowledge, diligence, and dedication.

Armenia’s chief of police expressed the hope that the new officer’s ranks will help these policemen serve more eagerly and conscientiously, and that their accomplishments will obligate them to be more disciplined, considerate, and principled while serving the law and the people in Armenia.
