The attorney of the second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, Hovhannes Khudoyan, voiced a request to recuse the prosecutor Karen Bisharyan.

According to the lawyer, even during the discussions in the parliament on February 23, 2018 regarding the events of March 1, 2008, Bisharyan did not see any grounds for interrogating Kocharyan even as a witness. 

Lawyer Ruben Sahakyan noted that the change in the point of view of the prosecutor is a consequence of a political order.

The prosecutor Karen Bisharyan has been participating in the process from today, which is due to the lack of a written request from lawyers.
