YEREVAN. – At the moment, there has been no discussion at the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) on the issue. Naira Zohrabyan, a member of the opposition Prosperous Armenia faction at the National Assembly (NA), said this in a conversation with journalists in the NA today, referring to the fact that the ARF-Dashnaktsutyun Party Youth Union has applied to the opposition Prosperous Armenia and Bright Armenia factions with the proposal of expressing no-confidence to Education, Science, Culture and Sport Minister Arayik Harutyunyan.

"As far as I am aware, the students have stopped the sit-in and are preparing for discussions with Minister Arayik Harutyunyan," the PAP MP stressed. “When they finish their discussions, we will see the results of the discussions; maybe we will discuss that issue then.

But it is a fact that there are many points of concern for us in Arayik Harutyunyan's work.”

Edmon Marukyan, the head of the Bright Armenia faction, had said regarding this matter that they had already raised the issue of no-confidence toward another minister at this NA session, and therefore they are no longer entitled to such an opportunity.
