YEREVAN. – Probably, our response will as public as the petitioning to us has been. Artur Davtyan, the Prosecutor General of Armenia, said this in a conversation with reporters on November 29, referring to the appeal by the attorney of Vahagn Harutyunyan, the former head of the March 1 investigation group.

"We haven't discussed [it] yet," he said. "Probably, our response will as public as the petitioning to us has been."

Harutyunyan's lawyer has applied to the Prosecutor General and the Special Investigation Service (SIS) head so that the arrest warrant for Harutyunyan be revoked so that he can come to Armenia to report to the investigating body.

Vahagn Harutyunyan, the former head of the investigation team in the March 1 case, was initially indicted for forging important evidence in the case. Later, the SIS announced that it had complemented the indictment, and Harutyunyan was also accused of abusing and going beyond official powers. He is wanted.
