YEREVAN. – That man [Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) chairman and tycoon MP Gagik Tsarukyan] wants to secure up to $2bn investments with his connections, whereas they, whose pre-election promises are zero, criticize it? Opposition Prosperous Armenia faction MP Gevorg Petrosyan said this in a conversation with reporters in the National Assembly today.

"Due to their economizing policy, Armenia lost a $2bn investment," Petrosyan said. "Well, now let them answer to the people to what extent they are true to their pre-election promises."

Asked how long the PAP will boycott the NA sessions, Gevorg Petrosyan said they have boycotted only today. "In the evening we will discuss at the faction, decide on the expediency of our participation tomorrow," he said. “This is not directed against the government or the prime minister. This is directed against the actions of the representatives of the NA faction who have forgotten why they were sent here. (...). There were 38 issues on the agenda, people are busy for two days, analyzing Tsarukyan's person; it’s a shame."
