Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and her spouse Anna Hakobyan, on the occasion of the New Year and Christmas holidays, visited the Department of State Border Protection and combat position along with Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan and Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Suren Papikyan.

Nikol Pashinyan first got acquainted with the modernized command-and-staff techniques used in the Armed Forces system. Afterwards, the Prime Minister met with the soldiers and commanders serving in the combat position, toured the military base and got acquainted with the situation on the front lines, the conduct of service, and the living conditions of the soldiers.

Nikol Pashinyan encouraged a group of officers and soldiers who stood out during their service. The Prime Minister and Mrs. Hakobyan met the soldiers with presents and wished them good and safe service and health.

The head of government congratulated all the servicemen of the Armenian Army on the coming holidays, wished them good luck and thanked for their dedicated service.

The PM also visited another military unit and got acquainted with the conditions. Nikol Pashinyan walked around the cafeteria and inquired about the menu. Here, the servicemen expressed their satisfaction with the new dietry and noted that it was significantly different from the previous one.
