At 5:27pm on Thursday, the National Center for Crisis Management of Armenia received a report that that a grass-covered area was burning on the Vanadzor-Dilijan motorway.
It turned out that the fire had broken out in a field on the side of the aforesaid motorway.
The fire was extinguished at 7:30pm.
But about 7 hectares of grass was burned.
Six forestry workers also had taken part in the firefighting.
