  • The aggravation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border has affected the population.

A resident of Chinari village of Armenia's Tavush province Aramayis Hovakimyan was wounded after being struck by the Azerbaijani unmanned combat aerial vehicle, ex-spokesperson of the Armenian defense ministry wrote on his Facebook.

According to the health ministry spokesperson Alina Nikoghosyan, the wounded resident of Chinari in critical but stable condition.

In the meantime, the Office of the Human Rights Defender has shared photos of civilian settlements of the Tavush province targeted from shelling by the Azerbaijani side. All the information will be sent to international organizations, as well as to the relevant state and public human rights organizations in Armenia.

Armenian emergency situations ministry has also reported that its vehicle has been damaged during the shootings at the Tavush province.

The Armenian Unified Information Center has also released photos of the building of a kindergarten in the Aygepar village of Tavush Province bombarded last night.

The photos show the recently repaired kindergarten a week before and now.

  • Armenian defense ministry spokesperson Shushan Stepanyan noted that "Azerbaijan, again, violating the agreement to hold the fire and stop military operations, employs combat UAVs, including in the direction of civilian settlements."

According to her, "the number of dead bodies of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces from this morning is likely to drastically increase."

The spokesperson also noted that "in case the Azerbaijani Armed Forces stop the fire and favorable conditions are created, the Armenian side is ready to permit the recovery and retrieval of the Azerbaijani killed and injured from the battlefield."

Later this evening, she has shared a video of the Azerbaijani side evacuating the bodies of their servicemen.

  • A representative of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has stood out with a statement, threatening to strike the Armenian nuclear power plant with a missile.

“The Armenian side must not forget that the armament of the Azerbaijani army includes state-of-the-art missile systems that allow to strike the Nuclear Power Plant in Metsamor with high precision, which will lead to a great disaster for Armenia,” defense ministry spokesperson Vagif Dargyakhli noted, as reported Azerbaijani presses.

Moreover, the defense ministry official didn’t pay attention to the fact that a strike against the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant will cause damage to not only Armenia, but also the whole region, and first and foremost Turkey and Azerbaijan.

"As a result of its short-sighted policy, the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan is at an impasse and now is resorting to perilous, ill-conceived steps for which it will bear responsibility also before its own people," the statement said. "The Foreign Minister is in constant contact with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship. In the present situation the efforts aimed at unconditional, complete restoration, preservation and strengthening of the ceasefire are imperative."
